I have been a freelance graphic designer and marketing specialist since the early 1980s. My clientele include a diverse array of businesses and organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to "Mom & Pop" shops. I am energized by the creative challenge of working directly with my clients, and coming up with the best creative solutions possible.

I decided early on that I wanted to be a graphic designer. I discovered that I love the fusion of practical projects and problems with the creative process. For nearly 40 years I have worked for newspapers and design firms where I have designed, produced and managed projects large and small; including branding, books, brochures, magazines, direct mail marketing, posters, and websites, and now social media graphics, to name just a few.

I come from a marketing background. So, in my opinion, when it comes to graphic design it’s not all about “pretty graphics.” I enjoy creating solutions that are functional, useful and help grow business for my clients.

I primarily use the Adobe Creative Suite  including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Muse and InDesign. I also utilize Excel, MS Word and any other program that may offer a solution. I've learned that staying on the cutting edge of new technology can be interesting and fun!
